1. 3/4" thick hardwood face frames, 3/4" thick doors

CABINET FRAMES: Frames 3/4" thick x 1-1/2" wide solid hardwood rail and stile members. Center stiles are 3/4" thick x 3" wide solid hardwood. All frame joints are precisely aligned, bonded with adhesive and secured with screws.

END PANELS: 1/2" thick 3-ply plywood finished inside and out to match the face frame. Veneer matches the species of the face frame. End panels are machined to accept tops, bottoms, backs and shelves.

INTERIOR: Interior is same species as the face frame and finished to match.

WALL CABINET TOPS & BOTTOMS: 1/2" thick 3-ply veneer plywood for extra strength and rigidity. Finished on both veneered sides to match the face frame. A dado joint and adhesive are used to join the tops and bottoms to the ends, face frame rails and hanger rails.

BASE CABINET BOTTOMS: 1/2" thick plywood extra strength and rigidity. Finished on to match the face frames. The bottoms are joined to the end panels, face frame rails and hanger rails with dado joints and adhesive. 1" x 1-5/8" hardwood floor supports are used to reinforce the bottoms of 48" and wider cabinets. The upper portion of base cabinets are reinforced with nylon corner blocks which maintain squareness.

BACKS: 1/8" 1/8" plywood veneer on inside, finished to match the face frame. The back is joined into the hanger rails with a rabbet joint and adhesive for superior strength. The backs are joined to 3/4" x 3-1/2" hanger strips.

Interiors are species specific veneer finished to match the cabinet.

SHELVES: All cabinets come standard with adjustable shelves made of 3/4" thick plywood veneer both sides. The shelves are finished to match the face frame. The front edge of the shelf comes standard with wood edge banding. Cabinet ends are drilled for shelf supports designed to lock the shelf in position on 32mm increments. Shelves for 27" or wider wall cabinets are supported in the center with a locking shelf clip attached to the back of the center stile. The back of the center stile is drilled in 32mm increments to match the drilling in the cabinet ends. Base cabinet half depth shelves are supported along the back of the shelf with a 3/4" x 1-1/2" hardwood rib for additional strength.

TOE BASE: 1/2" thick plywood. The toe base is unfinished. Order TBC to add the finished look.

DRAWERS: Sides, back and front of the drawer box are 5/8" thick all wood. The drawer sides, back and front are joined with an English dovetail, glued and pinned. The drawer bottom is 1/4" wood. The drawer bottom is retained in all four sides of the drawer with a dado joint. All joints are bonded with hot metal adhesive. 24", 21" and 18" deep cabinets have 21", 18" and 15" deep drawers respectively.
